Z’s Bakery and Deli really started over 40 years ago when Chef Eileen was inspired by her Auntie Rose. Her Auntie Rose and Grandmother introduced her to candies, and cordial making and this craft has stuck with her to this very day.
Chef Eileen is a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu in Minneapolis, Minnesota. With her constant status on the Dean’s list and receiving honors, she was on the fast track to her dream. She has been working as a Pastry Chef for over eighteen years. She has won numerous awards in competitions for Chocolate. In 2012, her, her husband, and their family came to Hawaii to celebrate their twenty-fifth wedding anniversary and renew their vows on the Hawaiian sands. While here, they took a look at a bakery business and that is where the lifelong dream of Z’s Bakery and Deli finally took hold. The rest is history.
Chef Eileen prides herself on the flavors. Whatever she is doing, from breakfast pastries to wedding cakes to gluten, and sugar free items, she wants the taste to be there. With everything she makes, a little part of her goes into it. She truly cares about what she does and she won’t cut corners.
We at Z’s Bakery and Deli, are tremendously proud of our Veterans, Military Personnel, Police, Firefighters, and EMT professionals and would like to thank them for their service by offering them a discount.We try and cater to our neighbors and friends in the community through donations to our local school fund raisers and charity events.
We enjoy meeting with customers for cake tastings. We meet our customers where it is convenient for them. We bring samples of cakes, fillings, and buttercreams for them to sample making their experience more unique.
